The Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Japan's Shonan Health Innovation Park (hereinafter referred to as i-Park) signed an MOU for Bio Venture and Startup Innovation at S-Factory in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. Minister Young Lee visited i-Park last May, toured the research facilities, and formed a consensus for cooperation in the bio field with CEO Fujimoto.

The main contents of the MOU are as follows:

① Support for Korean startups in the cutting-edge bio field (cell therapy, gene therapy, regenerative medicine)
② Promotion of joint R&D between Korea and Japan in the biotechnology field
③ Korea-Japan Open Innovation Programs
